Fall Session Schedule 2012
The schedule for Session I is now posted on the Schedule page. More information to follow...
Thursday, May 10, 2012
Today's handout is now posted on the Handouts 2011-12 page.
Family and Friends Concert
Be sure to mark your calendar for the upcoming "Family and Friends Concert" on Thursday, May 17. Our class will meet at the usual time on that day and practice from 4:00 - 4:30. At that point we will come down to the South Performance Hall and perform a short set of songs for you. We should finish around 4:45. Please feel free to bring family members at friends on that day.
Discover MYA - The Video
I hope you take time to watch the 7 minute video (see below) which tells the story of Midwest Young Artists and the dream of Dr. Allan Dennis, executive director of MYA.
Missing Song Sheets?
I reminded the students that if they have misplaced any song sheets, that they can view and/or print song shets from our website. Go to the Handouts 2011-12 page to find each and every song sheet.
Recorded Versions of Songs
And remember that many of the songs we are singing this year have recorded versions (by the original artists). You will find them on the Recordings 2011-12 page. Ask your Little Maestro for the password...
Our Recordings of SongsIf you have not yet had a chance to listen to recordings of The LIttle Maestro Singers, be sure to visit our Songs 2011-12 page to hear "It Could Be A Wonderful World," "Over In The Meadow," and "I Can't Spell Hippopotamus."
Thanks again, and if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
See you soon,
Mr. Koch
